I bought a crank bait that dives 4-8 feet is this good fishing for bass. I also bought a Rebel Pop-R top water is this lure good for fishing bass too?

I’ve seen advertisement for pro stuff on tv that u spray on plastic worms to attract a fish. And some people say to use different at home products idk if that’s true or not anybody got an idea?

I fish this lake mainly at dusk, fishing mostly a frog or a spinnerbait in the heavy cover shallows near drop-offs. When I need to slow things down, what is a good finesse technique for these conditions?
Looking for a baitcast reel in the 50 – 75 dollar range. I mostly fish with soft plastics such as lizards. There is a lot out there and I dont know which one to get.

i LOVE to go fishing and I catch bass all the time and i want to get in tournaments or a club or something. how would i do that? im 15 years old.
It looks so exciting on TV when they catch all of the fish. Then I realize they’re showing highlights of around 20 hours of fishing. They’re lucky to average 1 fish an hour. It might be good for TV, but pretty boring in person.
