      I have a 16 gallon fish tank. Bio-Orb!
I have just added one male beta. But the tank is way to big for him to just be by himself. I know that other male betas or other long tale fish will result in fighting. I was just inquiring to see if perhaps a small spool of neons would be ok ? Angle fish? Thanks
bottom feeders are not recommended for this aquarium. The Bio-Orb.
Something about the filtration system. Also what would be the recommended total amount of fish that I can add to the tank without it causing harm to each other.

      :>)

Okay so I was thinking about getting some fish but I don’t know which kind to get and how many I could get in upto a 20g tank. I was thinking of:
              Fancy guppies
              Bloodfin tetra
Algae eater( I don’t know which kind would be best)
              Angle fish
              Redtailed shark

I was thinking of maybe getting mystery snails to go along with them.
Tell me how many of each and who to put with who

              Tthanks

I have a 35 gallon fresh water aquarium, it has one sliver dollar in it, two angle fish, one beta shark, one mini cat fish and one bottom dweller. It has a duel oxygenation system, a filter, various fake plants, etc. The problem is the underside of the aquarium light hood keeps getting green from algae and the water is never crystal clear anymore. I know about checking the
nitrates, and ph balance and that when you clean the water you need to leave some of the old water at the bottom so that the ecosystem doesn’t get messed up. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make the water crystal clear again (I suction the rocks about once a month), and how to keep the underside of the hood from not getting green all the time from algae. I was also wondering how many more fish I could possibly add to the tank, what other fresh water fish are compatiable, etc.

This is the first time my angle fish lay eggs. The father was doing a good job in taking care of them but today when i put warmer water to the tank to make it 78F, the father stop caring for the eggs and in the afternoon they were all gone. Was it my fault?

i have a 10gallon tank with some guppies and a angle fish and i was reading that i should give them live fish food.what is that?my guppies are small so i dont see them eating another fish.
